ScienceWear is a woman-owned small business based in Kerrville, Texas, founded by award-winning teacher Jody Hodges. With over two decades of classroom experience, Jody began designing wearable science projects to make learning hands-on, creative, and unforgettable for her students.

Today, ScienceWear’s innovative kits and designs have helped tens of thousands of students explore topics like anatomy, chemistry, the lunar cycle, and more, all while wearing what they’ve learned. Every product is classroom-tested and teacher-approved.

About Jody

As a teacher for over 29 years in the Texas public school system, Jody has proven she knows how to turn kids on to science. She’s been described as a “compact bundle of energy,” and has received multiple honors for her innovative teaching strategies, including:
