Single Cells
Tune of Jingle Bells. Lyrics by Jody Hodges.
Lyrics
Dashing to and fro
Amoebas like to play
In a petri dish
Dividing once a day
I thought there were two
Nothing less or more
But I looked through the microscope
And counted up to four
Single cells single cells
See how they divide
There was one on Christmas day
But now it’s multiplied
Single cells Single cells
Nothing much to do
But swim around a petri dish
Dividing into two
